A landscape can be a place of sustenance on which to thrive, medicine to heal, materials to build, all in the pursuit of beauty and resilience, a place to share.
Our micro-nursery is located in the rocky woodlands of central Vermont. We grow plants for residential pre-order, local markets, and wholesale installations.
We prioritize growing plants native to our region, and the U.S., and are experimenting with gathering wild seed to grow out local ecotypes. We are especially fond of wildflower-types and grasses, anything that floats and moves, as our collective background includes floristry, event making, and performance.
We are also committed to increasing the availability of sustainable building materials, herbal medicine, and food in the landscape, and use plants that offer these in our design work. Our nursery currently includes plants such as basket willows, dyers coreopsis, and echinacea, among others towards this goal.
We also grow some of our favorite unusual cut flower varieties, garden oddballs, dainty tubers, and plays-nicely-with-others non-native perennials.
